Looking for a regional run that gives you steady miles without keeping you away for long stretches? This opportunity is built for CDL-A drivers who want dependable freight, familiar lanes, and more frequent home time than many traditional regional fleets.
CK Transportation is hiring Class A CDL drivers for a Heartland fleet operating Midwest regional freight. Drivers average around 2,100 miles per week on shorter, more predictable lanes that help create a smoother weekly routine. This fleet is designed to reduce unnecessary downtime while keeping freight consistent.
Drivers receive at least a 34-hour reset every week, plus three weekends home each month. The schedule also includes an additional mid-week break built into the rotation. It's a strong fit for drivers who want reliable home time without sacrificing weekly earnings.
Drivers typically earn $1,250 to $1,450 weekly based on miles and performance. A guaranteed minimum pay program is available during slower weeks. Additional earning opportunities may include safety and fuel bonuses.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid holidays, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with company match. Per diem options are available for qualifying drivers.
Freight is primarily no-touch dry van, with most loads running drop-and-hook. Some live load or unload freight may occur depending on the customer. Dispatch works to keep transitions smooth and productive.
Drivers operate 2016 or newer Freightliner Cascadia, International, and Kenworth tractors equipped with inverters and idle management systems. Take-home trucks may be available with approved parking.
Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL. Drivers need either 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience or 1 full year within the last 3 years. Experience must be on trailers 48 feet or longer.
This Heartland account is hired through CK Transportation. The focus is simple: steady miles, practical schedules, and treating drivers with professionalism.
