CDL-A Truck Driver | Weekly Pay: $1,600 to $1,700
Regional no-touch freight with home time every other weekend.
Job Type: Regional | Freight: No-touch dry van
Hiring Area: Jacksonville, FL
A driving schedule designed around consistent time off gives a CDL-A truck driver the ability to manage both work and personal life. This role emphasizes a balanced routine where drivers know when they are running and when they are home.
This position operates within a regional network, primarily east of I-35, with occasional runs extending beyond the core lanes. A CDL A driver works through coordinated dispatch that aligns pickups and deliveries to maintain forward movement throughout the week.
Daily Workflow
Each run is built around scheduled loads that move in sequence from one stop to the next. Dispatch teams organize assignments to reduce idle time and keep trucks progressing through routes. A Class A CDL driver can expect a steady transition between loads without unnecessary gaps in activity. Freight remains no-touch, allowing drivers to focus entirely on driving responsibilities.
Equipment and Driving Environment
Drivers are assigned late-model equipment, including 2021 or newer tractors, built for long-haul reliability. These units are maintained to support performance and minimize interruptions. A CDL-A truck driver operates in an environment focused on keeping equipment ready and routes flowing.
Compensation and Benefits
Earnings: $1,600 to $1,700 per week
Medical, dental, and vision coverage
401(k) with company match
Paid orientation
Home Time Structure
Time off is arranged as a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. This schedule gives a CDL A driver the ability to plan ahead while maintaining a steady driving rhythm between resets.
Driver Qualifications
Drivers must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least 3 months of experience within the past 36 months. A CDL-A truck driver is expected to operate safely while following assigned routing and dispatch instructions.
