CDL-A Truck Driver

Job Type: Regional CDL-A Truck Driver | Weekly Pay: $1,300 to $1,500
Home Time: Weekly 34-hour reset | Freight: No-touch
Hiring Area: Atlanta, GA

Freight: No-touch dry van freight transporting general goods across regional lanes, utilizing a blend of drop-and-hook and live unload deliveries.
Schedule: Weekly reset built into the run cycle, with the ability to take additional home time when available.
Miles: Typical range of 1,800–2,400 miles per week depending on route assignment.

Delivery coordination in this operation centers on aligning pickup appointments with delivery windows so a CDL-A truck driver can transition between stops without extended wait periods. Routes are assigned in a sequence that supports forward movement across multiple stops, giving drivers a clear order of travel throughout each run.

A CDL A driver operates primarily east of I-35, covering a combination of recurring lanes and changing delivery points that help maintain mileage while avoiding repetitive routing week after week.

Equipment & Driving Setup

Late-model equipment is assigned and serviced on a regular schedule to support performance across regional routes. Trucks include updated onboard systems designed to assist a Class A CDL driver with daily operation and in-cab functionality.

Parking options allow drivers to keep trucks at home or use terminal locations based on route flow and personal preference.

Driver Routine

Freight is often staged in advance, helping reduce time spent at shipping locations and improving transitions between loads. Delivery timing is arranged to keep drivers moving between stops with fewer interruptions.

Benefits & Support

A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with life insurance and participation in a 401(k) plan. Paid time off and holiday pay are included, and both rider and pet policies are available.

Driver Requirements

A Class A CDL driver must hold a valid CDL-A license and meet minimum experience requirements. Drivers must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a safe driving record.
