How This Role Runs
This Class A CDL driver position follows a preplanned dispatch system that keeps loads moving with minimal downtime. Drivers run longer routes rather than short turns, supporting a steady weekly rhythm from pickup through delivery. A CDL A driver typically averages 2,500 to 3,000 miles per week with consistent transitions between assignments.

Equipment & Support
Drivers operate Kenworth T680 trucks with automatic transmissions designed for long-haul use. Refrigerators and APUs are included to support time on the road, along with in-cab entertainment and refrigerated trailers.

Freight Details
Freight is no-touch and includes general commodities and protein loads such as boxed beef, chicken, pork, and beverage products. A CDL-A truck driver runs across Midwest to East Coast routes with consistent demand and stable miles.

Pay & Additional Earnings
Weekly Pay: $1,350 to $1,450
Drivers are supported by steady mileage and dispatch consistency. Layover and detention pay are available when applicable.

Home Time & Planning
Home time is structured as 6 days off per month with advance scheduling required. Drivers can split or group their time off based on preference. This is not a weekly home time position.

Benefits
Medical, dental, and life insurance are available along with a 401(k) with company match and paid vacation. Passenger policy is available. Orientation is provided with travel arranged and pays $100 per day.

Requirements
A Class A CDL driver must have at least 3 months of recent OTR or regional experience, or more time driving than not. A valid CDL-A license is required and must match the driver's state of residence prior to dispatch. Drivers must meet safety standards with no recent major violations or clearinghouse issues.
