What You'll Do
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Transport freight over local, regional, or OTR routes as assigned
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs (ELD/paper)
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and ensure on-time delivery performance
- Properly load, secure, and unload cargo per assignment requirements
- Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and all applicable laws
- Complete required documentation including BOLs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports
What You Need
- Valid CDL Class A license — current and in good standing
- Experience: 0 months to 2+ years — requirements vary by company, we have options for all experience levels including recent CDL graduates
- Must pass MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass background check
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and ELD compliance
- Endorsements a plus: Hazmat (X/H), Tanker (N), Doubles/Triples (T)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States — no sponsorship available
