A Day in the Life

As a CDL Driver at Universal Truck Service, your first priority is safety - for yourself, your vehicle, and every customer vehicle in your care. You will conduct pre-trip inspections, deliver and pick up trucks being serviced, transport team members between locations, and occasionally cross state lines while maintaining all required documentation and MNDOT compliance. Universal Truck Service CDL Drivers operate with professionalism and a positive attitude on every run.

What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough pre-trip walk-around inspections before every delivery
• Deliver and pick up customer vehicles safely and on time
• Operate within MNDOT and federal regulations including logbooks and deal plates
• Transport team members for coordinated pickups and deliveries
• Assist with ongoing inspections and maintenance of company vehicles
• Maintain all personal paperwork including endorsements and health cards
• Comply with random drug testing requirements

Schedule

Full-time, Day or Night Shift.

What You Bring

• Valid CDL with required Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
• Minimum 2 years of tractor/trailer experience
• At least 23 years of age
• Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs; ability to occasionally lift 100+ lbs
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Meets all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration qualifications
• Steel toe or composite toe footwear required
