What you'll do

Transport & delivery

  • Operate tender semi-trucks or straight trucks to transport dry and liquid fertilizer or anhydrous ammonia nurse trailers to producer fields
  • Fasten and secure all loads before transit; ensure product arrives in good condition

Loading & product transfer

  • Prepare vehicles for product loading and assist manually or through company software 
  • Connect hoses and operate transfer systems to load chemicals into containers; secure vehicle when transfer is complete
  • Deliver product to AG Equipment Operators in producer fields; connect hoses to applicator machinery and operate pumps to transfer product
  • Clear hose lines upon completion of transfer and secure all hoses to truck

Vehicle inspections & maintenance

  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections checking lights, turn signals, tires, lug-nuts, air pressure, horn, wipers, oil, antifreeze, belts, brakes, and fifth wheel coupler
  • Perform or assist with routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, lights, belts, wiper blades, grease fittings, and non-air brake parts
  • Keep vehicles clean inside and out to promote a positive company image

Safety & compliance

  • Follow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations
  • Renew CDL license and endorsements on time; attend workshops and review technical publications to stay current


What we are looking for

  • CDL Class A required 
  • 2+ years of tractor-trailer or straight truck driving experience 
  • No major accidents or violations within the last 24 months
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, batch loads, gauges, maps, weigh tickets, and delivery tickets
  • Basic math skills including proportions, percentages, and volume calculations
