Your Role at KIK

 

The CDL Driver / Warehouse Associate- 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm) is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by transporting materials between the warehouse and plant facilities and assisting with warehouse activities. This role involves short, local driving routes as well as hands-on warehouse responsibilities such as loading and unloading materials, inventory handling, and maintaining organized storage areas. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in both driving and warehouse environments. 

What You’ll Do

       Local Driving & Material Transport

  • Safely operate company trucks to transport raw materials, finished goods, and supplies between the warehouse and plant locations
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
  • Ensure materials are properly loaded, secured, and delivered safely and efficiently
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries and material transfers

 

Warehouse & Material Handling

 

  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
  • Stage and move materials to support production schedules
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials
  • Assist with inventory organization and cycle counts
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

 

General Operations Support

  • Assist warehouse and production teams during non-driving periods
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Support continuous improvement efforts within warehouse and plant operations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license

  • Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements

  • Previous driving experience preferred; local route driving experience is a plus

  • Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred

  • Forklift experience or certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to lift to 50–75 lbs. and perform physical warehouse tasks

  • Strong attention to safety and detail

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. This position has an hourly rate of $25.75 with a $1.00/hr. shift premium.
