CK Transportation is hiring a CDL A driver for a route based near Harrisburg where consistency is the main focus. Instead of constantly shifting lanes or unpredictable dispatch, this fleet runs repeat Northeast corridors that allow drivers to settle into a routine and keep their week structured. The goal is simple - keep miles steady, keep schedules predictable, and avoid unnecessary downtime.

Drivers typically operate throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, and surrounding states, moving dry van freight that is largely drop-and-hook. Because loads are planned in advance, drivers are not waiting for assignments at the end of a run or dealing with last-minute changes that affect home time. Most schedules run during the week and return drivers home for a full weekend reset.

Pay in this position generally falls between $1,250 and $1,450 per week depending on miles and performance, with a $1,200 weekly pay protection available when eligibility requirements are met. Paychecks are issued every Friday, and the consistency of the lanes helps maintain reliable weekly earnings over time.

Equipment is assigned and includes 2019 or newer Freightliner Cascadia tractors with automatic transmission, APU, inverter, refrigerator space, and double bunk sleeper setups. Trucks are maintained on a regular service cycle to reduce downtime and keep drivers moving.

Orientation lasts approximately two to three days, with hotel and meals provided. Orientation pay is included with the first paycheck, and drivers leave with a clear understanding of their routes, dispatcher communication, and weekly expectations.
