POSITION: Class A Driver – Local Hauling Only

LOCATION: Fresno, CA

REPORTS TO: Route Manager

SALARY: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, DOE

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

The Class A Driver operate tractor-trailer with a walking floor trailer and work with the Operations Manager to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides daily transport services while safely operating company equipment.
• Communicates professionally with supervisors and managers.
• Completes route sheets as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Observes and reports all equipment not operating correctly.
• Completes all DOT and company required paperwork in a professional and timely manner as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Other special projects, implementations and tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years related experience as a Class A Commercial Driver
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a cleaning driving record
• Ability to pass a random drug screen
• Current DOT Medical Examiner Certificate (Medical Card)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle daily operational challenges professionally
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
