CK Transportation is adding CDL A drivers to a nationwide fleet that keeps trucks moving without constant dispatch changes. This position works well for drivers who want long runs, reliable pay, and home time that is built into the schedule instead of promised when freight slows down.

Terminal Area
Laredo, TX
Drivers run all 48 states with most loads averaging 700–750 miles. Freight stays consistent year-round with a mix of drop-and-hook and live unload. The majority of loads are no-touch, allowing drivers to focus on driving instead of dock work. Routes are assigned through a large national freight network that keeps miles available even during slower seasons.

Pay & Weekly Earnings
Average weekly pay ranges from $1,250 to $1,450 depending on miles and performance. Detention pay is included for qualifying delays, and additional performance incentives reward safe driving and reliability. After 6 months, drivers are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage along with paid vacation and 401(k) options. Rider and pet programs are available for approved drivers.

Run Schedule
This fleet operates on a 12-day running cycle followed by 48 hours off every other weekend. Dispatch keeps routes organized so drivers know when they are heading home. Miles stay consistent, and freight volume remains steady across the entire network.

Drivers run late-model sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions.
APU units for comfort during breaks

Getting Started
Orientation includes paid travel, hotel, and meals. The hiring process moves quickly, and most qualified drivers can be approved within a few business days.

Requirements
Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
Safe driving record and reliable work history
