We are looking for a Fuel Truck Driver for full time maintenance position in Norco, LA. This position will drive and operate the fuel truck at the jobsite.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience hauling heavy equipment
  • TWIC required
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A or B required with HAZMAT and Tankerman endorsement
  • Pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
  • DOT card
  • Schedule: Shift work; rotating days and nights; must be willing to be on call and able to work overtime as needed
  • High school or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of DOT Regulations
  • Ability to interpret information such as travel path/driving routes, billing tickets, operating instructions, and both company and client procedures
  • Ability to drive Manual Transmission Equipment
  • CDL License
  • Technical training and/or industrial related safety experience
  • Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
  • Job site safety requirements (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
  • Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
  • Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment; interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed; may assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects; may be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:

May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment
