Job Duties Include (but not limited to):
Local Texas Runs
Load, secure and protect product on delivery truck and safely transport to destination
Load and unload product on truck for delivery from Distribution center
Pick-up product from customer and other Avanti locations
Routinely inspect truck and trailer for safety
Ability to use a forklift (training on site)
Any other duties as assigned by manager
Employee Requirements:
Ability to meet all requirements set forth by FMCSR 391.11
Have current satisfactory MVR (driving record), valid CDL and DOT physical (can be completed once hired)
Ability to use the ELD device per FMCSA for logging hours of service-of-service and records of duty
Ability to embrace, improve, and more importantly enjoy the opportunity to grow with a rapidly growing company
Ability to communicate professionally with team members and trades on and off job site and always maintain professional appearance
Punctual and reliable
Ability to work 10+ hours a day
Ability to use proper PPE when handling windows/patio doors
Ability to lift to 50lbs multiple times per day with occasional lifts more than 75lbs
Ability to push/pull rolling product and part carts more than 500lbs
Ability to carry/lift to 175lbs (team lift) for windows and patio doors for delivery
If approved, driving a company vehicle must meet all Avanti company vehicle and driving requirements
