DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a safety-focused, dependable individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. This role is responsible for supporting infrastructure maintenance operations, including roadside herbicide application, traffic control, and shadow/crash truck (TMA) operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; identify and report any issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Safely transport materials and equipment required for daily operations, including loading, unloading, and mixing.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 60 pounds.
• Accurately complete and maintain driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT and DMV regulations, including proper handling and placarding of hazardous materials.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Participate in cross-training initiatives and support team members across various job functions when required.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience & Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of 5 years of clean driving history.
• Proficient in GPS navigation and route planning.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse customer base.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60+ pounds.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

Pay rate:$18-21/hour depending on experience.
