Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with a focus on van freight across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using manual handling skills or equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Maintain safe driving practices, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal routes for efficiency and safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your vehicle to ensure it is in top condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, load status, and any issues encountered.
• Support the delivery process by handling freight securely in refrigerated trailers or dry vans as required.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to load & unload freight independently or with equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks.
• Experience with route driving, delivery schedules, and managing freight logistics efficiently.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and customer service.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be at least 21 years old

-Must have a valid class A CDL

-6 months experience
