CDL-A truck drivers in this position earn $1,250–$1,550 weekly depending on miles and experience. CDL-A truck drivers also have access to detention and layover pay when applicable, helping create dependable weekly income. This role is built for drivers who value steady earnings and organized freight flow.
Home time is scheduled every other weekend with two full days off. CDL-A truck drivers who prefer longer runs followed by planned time at home often choose this schedule because it balances productivity and personal time. Dispatch works ahead to keep routes organized and reduce unnecessary downtime.
Freight is primarily no-touch with a mix of drop and hook and scheduled live load freight. CDL-A truck drivers run established lanes with steady demand instead of random routing. Miles remain consistent throughout the week with loads planned in advance.
Drivers operate late-model Peterbilt and Kenworth equipment with automatic transmissions, inverters, and sleeper features designed for comfort. Trucks are maintained regularly to keep CDL-A truck drivers moving.
