**Position Location:** Fresno, CA (Relocation or commute required)
We are a heavy civil and substation construction company primarily operating in Northern California, the Central Valley, and the Bay Area.
**Wage:** $30 per hour (negotiable based on experience, endorsements, or other skills)
**Hours:** 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday (flexibility required)
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Must possess a Class A CDL and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive and operate a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of over 26,000 lbs.
- Experience with Lowbed and End Dump trailers is required.
- Responsible for picking up loads, verifying their accuracy, and obtaining completed paperwork when applicable.
- Capable of safely loading and unloading various types of equipment in different conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather.
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain an accurate logbook and adhere to all company safety requirements, traffic laws, and DOT safety regulations.
- Be flexible for schedules when necessary.
**Skills:**
- Able to lift items weighing up to 80 lbs and perform twisting, reaching, and pulling movements.
- Capable of driving safely for long periods.
- Proficient in navigating using maps, GPS, or other location information.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Knowledgeable about state traffic laws.
- Able to perform light maintenance and housekeeping tasks on the company vehicle as needed.
