Part Time New/Used Truck Delivery Driver

Kenworth Sales Co. is looking for a Part Time New/Used Truck Delivery Driver  to join our Pasco, WA team.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary function of the New / Used Truck Delivery Driver is to pick up and deliver trucks to branch and customer locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver trucks to and from branch and customer locations
• Drives New and Used trucks as needed
• Fuels trucks as necessary
• Perform Pre and Post trip inspection in accordance with DOT/Logbook rules
• Maintains a current and valid Commercial Driver's License for Class 7 & 8 tractors and trucks.
• Maintains an excellent driving record, and completes all requirements for keeping CDL in good standing including physical exams, drug tests, driver's logbook, etc.
• Maintains courteous and continuing relations with port authorities, highway patrol, Departments of Transportation and Motor Vehicles in the course of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions and information.  High School Diploma or the equivalent.  Professional personal appearance.  Excellent organization, communication, and driving skills.  Valid and current Commercial Driver’s License.  Clean driving record.  Familiarity with trucking industry and the requirements of transporting Class 7 & 8 tractors and trucks within and between different states. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Will bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and feel. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, paint and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.  Spend extensive periods of time driving multiple vehicles over short and long distances. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.  Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
