A Recycling Driver is a crucial team member responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s operations while providing excellent customer service. The role involves various responsibilities, including physical tasks, logging data, and adherence to the company’s procedures.
Professional Communication:
Maintain friendly and professional communication with clients and co-workers to ensure a positive working environment and customer satisfaction.
Physical Requirements:
Perform physically demanding tasks independently, including lifting, pushing, pulling, and tilting heavy objects weighing between 50 to 100 pounds without assistance.
Responsibilities:
Executes work established by the Dispatch Manager.
Mainly drop and hook or double drop and hook swapping loaded trailers with empties.
Notifies Dispatch Manager about delays, unsafe sites, accidents, breakdowns, or other issues.
Is prepared to perform other duties as assigned by the Dispatch Manager or Director of Operations/Logistics.
Customer Service:
Exhibit strong customer service skills and effective verbal communication when interacting with clients, addressing their concerns, and providing assistance as needed.
Vehicle Operations:
Be responsible for the safe operation, usage, and maintenance of the assigned vehicle. This includes routine checks, maintenance, and reporting of any identified problems with the vehicle.
Traffic Law Compliance:
Ensure that all duties performed as the driver of the assigned vehicle are in strict adherence to local traffic laws, and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines.
Pay Rate (Depending on Experience)
$30-$31 Per Hour
Paid weekly on Friday
