Job Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Job Summary:

As a Tow Truck Driver at Bomnin Automotive, your primary responsibility is to respond to service calls from all South Florida Bomnin Service repair shops. While your primary role is to transport vehicles between service locations, you will also be on-call to provide customer roadside assistance if needed. Additionally, you will provide tow service for Intercompany inventory logistics and collaborate with various departments within the auto group to transport vehicles as required. Safety, customer service, and vehicle maintenance are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Call Response: Promptly respond to service calls from all Bomnin Service repair shops for vehicle transportation.
  • Intercompany Inventory Logistics: Provide tow service for Intercompany inventory logistics, ensuring the efficient transfer of vehicles between locations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service, and body shop department managers to transport vehicles as needed within the auto group.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow proper safety rules by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and report vehicle damage immediately to your supervisor.
  • Customer Assistance: When requested, provide roadside assistance to stranded motorists, ensuring their safety while awaiting assistance, and remain in contact with the customer when en route.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the tow truck clean and in good condition both inside and outside. Report any required maintenance or issues related to the tow truck immediately to your supervisor, including warning lights or malfunctions.
  • Vehicle Loading: Safely load vehicles onto the tow truck, ensuring secure and proper procedures are followed.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the Service Department, dispatch, and customers to provide status updates and ensure smooth service operations.
  • Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations and accidents with professionalism and a focus on safety.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including service call records, vehicle inspection reports, and customer documentation.
