Description

We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Truck Driver to support our operations by transporting precast concrete products, materials, and equipment to job sites and plant locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and load securement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport precast concrete products and construction materials
  • Secure large, heavy, and oversized loads using chains, straps, binders, and other appropriate equipment
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
  • Ensure all loads comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards
  • Deliver materials to job sites in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with loading and unloading as needed, including verifying load accuracy
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and delivery documentation
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and project teams
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and job sites


Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of commercial driving experience
  • Proven experience securing large, heavy, or oversized loads (flatbed experience referred)
  • Clean driving record with no major violations
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience hauling precast concrete, construction materials, or oversized loads
  • Familiarity with flatbed trailers and job site deliveries
  • Knowledge of local and regional routes

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily local or regional travel (home daily/overnight travel as applicable)
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Frequent interaction with construction job sites and plant environments

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy materials
  • Ability to climb onto trailers and secure loads safely
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and physical activity
