As a Truck Driver/Mail Handler, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient transportation and handling of mail and goods. Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating trucks to transport mail and packages to designated locations.
- Loading and unloading mail and goods with care and attention to detail.
- Following established routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and performing basic maintenance to ensure safety.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- 1 year of truck driving experience (required).
-Proof of registration with the Selective Service.
-Able to Pass a federal background check including fingerprinting and exams to obtain Airport access badges.
- A valid Type 3 driver’s license with a PUC physical is (required).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A commitment to safety and following all transportation regulations.
- Physical ability to handle mail and packages to 70 lbs during loading and unloading.
-Ability to work split shifts and early start times.
